After log in, at IDEO, I my find published Demotech's BridgeBuilders Challenge entry. Up to now 3 comments came in. One of them regarded the possibility of adding pictures to D's entry, that were lost when it crashed upon sending-in. Per 8/8/18 I asked if ading pictures was still possible

A blog to store our best DemoUnit-video's .... July 28, 2018 - 6:36pm

And also to archive the crums and the bad ones. There should be a place where they can be found.

This is a really bad Occupy-video, taken by James, a guy who created a lot and spoiled even more. This is the link. Would straightening it help?

Traveling Volunteers July 2, 2018 - 4:08pm

Traveling Volunteers might like to work with Demotech, to participate in Demotech projects and could be offered hospitality at the Landbouwbelang community in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
At this place addresses and links should be noted about organizations that facilitate traveling volunteers and related info.

How to fail and how to recover ... May 16, 2018 - 12:09am

Over here, at Demotech, there was some kind of examination same as for the students that help TreeDripper out at Wednesday meetings. And I failed!

It went like this: the system with the hot nail to make parts and tubes worked very well. I produced many TreeDrippers, filled up the container, and all seemed to work well. `

People of Drought May 14, 2018 - 1:12am

This Vimeo video is about the to and fro shift from deadly scarcity to joyful abundance of water. The last video shooting ia about drilling a deep borehole, welcomed as a solution. However, one of the first rope pumps I build in Ghana was on an abandoned borehole. The officials did not have the money to buy the pump for the cost of many thousands of euro. There Demotech made use of the opportunity and taught the community, specially the women, to make and install a rope pump by and for themselves.

Elements of Innovation (now for TreeDripper) May 8, 2018 - 3:08pm

Embedded in the TreeDripper project are two distinct types of innovation: social and technical. This blog not on the Social type: how we want to involve messengers and users, creating meaning, learning, and joy in the process.

The technical type of innovation regards the total of the TreeDripper, that it makes better possible to seed and grow trees. But in the details are the breakthrough innovative ideas and it has taken very long to give them the quality needed for TreeDripper.

The technical type of innovation regards the TreeDripper as a toolset. How it makes better possible to seed and grow trees. In the details of its design are the breakthrough innovative ideas. It has taken a very long time to give them the quality needed for successful application, actually, we are still struggling on!

Common Bound Water Vessel Workshop Proposal May 27, 2018 - 5:39pm

Common Bound organized a challenge to answer to their questioins raised, that were in line with ideas and practice of the WaterVessel project. I knew about this only one day before the deadline if submission. So I did a rougn job of the description of our project. But the questions of Common Bound were a very good guide. At this end I have got no prize out of it, but a document that otherwise would not have been written.

Be hope to Her, BH2O+ May 4, 2018 - 12:02pm

Got fast feedback came from Bram in Berlin! He told me the link to BH2O+ (Be hope to her) was broken. When finding out what was the trouble, I discovered and other video and a better link to the NGO that is behind the BH20+ water-for-women events and actions.

Because this public event of students carrying water in a beautiful Italian city is very inspiring for our Berlin endeavor.

So the first thing to do is to learn from them. This is their website, check it out soonest:

A video that says it all .... Water vessels, build them NOW May 4, 2018 - 10:56am

We made a start in Maastricht (see picture gallery) and we prepare for testing our 5 m3 water vessel building method in a very innovative way. What we do is to go public with it, the public in Berlin parks.

Found All data Rain Water Harvesting world-wide at this site! April 26, 2018 - 2:10pm

This is what I found and what we need by now: all the data about where Tree Drippers are needed and possible. TreeDrppers are needed where water is scarce, at least for a long and yearly recurring period. Then TreeDripprs make the difference in yes or no surviving of the just planted saplings.

Here only the link and the first lines of this site. Check it out for yourself!
